Since a very young age Laura K aka DJ Quakey started listening to dance music, inspired by many DJs and producers of the time like Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk and of course her idol Tiësto. She started listening to a lot of DJ sets and radio shows online which gave her a great passion for Djing and soon she was mixing her own livesets using software programs before she finally got her own turntables at the age 16. In the year 2007 she started online radio Djing, and soon after that her first gig at Gloria, Helsinki. In 2008 Quakey joined the finnish partyagency Millennium. Quakey has also DJed alongside many superstar DJs such as Darude, Genix, Alex Kunnari, Proteus, Amber D, and many more..
